  • Late drop off fee: a 10-15 minute window after said appointment time. Please know, if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we CANNOT accept your dog and you will have to reschedule for a later date. Completely up to the groomer that will be working on your dog, With complete discretion to not accept the late client. If accepted there will be a 15 dollar late fee.

  • Nail trimming is included with every service. Nail filing or grinding is an add on for $10

  • Late Pick up fee: There will be a 25 dollar late pick up fee if your pup is not picked up in a reasonable time. We tell all our appointments regardless of needs or special requests around 3-4 hours. Some days in a grooming shop are busier than others as we are working with live animals, so it could take less or more time depending on the day. If there is any reason it would take much longer than 4 hours we would let you know. But to reduce the amount of dogs sitting in our shop we ask that you pick your dog up in a timely manner. Because of this, if you are unable to pick your dog up within an hour of being called to tell you that they are finished, we will charge you a $20 daycare fee. We unfortunately do not operate as a pet boarding facility so we cannot have large numbers of dogs in the building at one time, so please schedule your appointment on a day and time where you can promptly pick up your dog! Thank you!

  • Cancellation/ No Show fee: A 35 dollar fee. Cancellations need to be made at least  24 hours in advance, and Tuesday appointments must be canceled by Saturday by 3:00pm.

  • Repeat No-showings or repeat day of cancelations clients will be required to pay in advance of 50 percent of the service.

  • Rabies vaccination that are current/ up to date are legally required before your pup comes in for a grooming service.

  • Staff safety and dog safety are our main concerns

  • Health Problems: Occasionally grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming. All medical expenses for Veterinary care, due to these problems, will be covered by the animals owner.

  • Accidents: Accidents are rare, but there is always a risk when working with dogs. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible accidents can happen including cuts, nicks, scratches, quickening of nails, etc. These usually occur when the dog is wiggling or moving around. Your dogs safety and comfort is our number one priority. If an accident happens you will be notified about it. If Bellevue Pet Spa feels it is serious, and the dogs owner in not on-site, we will seek immediate Veterinary care for your dog.

  • Interruptions: For the safety of the dogs being groomed, as well as the professional groomer, it is asked that you do not interrupt the groomer during the grooming. If you arrive to pick up your dog and it is still being groomed , please DO NOT talk to your dog or allow them to see you. Please step outside until the grooming is done. It can be dangerous to continue grooming an excited dog. We do reserve the right to end the grooming session even if the groom is not completed, due to the safety of the dog. The full price of the grooming will still be charged.

  • Fleas/Ticks: If your dog has fleas/ ticks, we recommend that you take them to the Veterinarian prior to the dog being groomed. If we find fleas/ ticks on your dog mid grooming, we will stop immediately and notify you. We can either give your dog a Flea bath ( with an added charge depending on the size of the dog) or your dog will be sent home, and you will be charged for the full grooming. This policy is to ensure the safety of all clients in the salon, and to maintain a parasite- free salon. After the flea/tick problem is resolved, please call or email to reschedule your appointment.

  • Dangerous or Aggressive dogs and Refusal of Services: Bellevue Pet Spa has the right to refuse any services at any time. In the event that your dog is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, Bellevue Pet Spa has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming at any time before, during, or after grooming and the client will be charged a grooming fee (for that was done up until that point)

  • Use of Muzzles: Muzzling does not harm your dog and protect both the dog and the groomer. In some cases, muzzling may even calm a stressed pet, allowing the grooming process to continue. If a dog still acts in a way that is dangerous, Bellevue Pet Spa has the right to stop grooming services at any time and a service fee will be collected. We do not muzzle unless you dog gives us a reason to, and muzzling is a last resort.

  • Allergic Reactions: We take great care in selecting the best products of your dogs skin and coat condition. But reactions can happen, if your dog has a reaction to a grooming product , please make us aware of it within 24 hours from your visit.

  • Matted Coats: A fee depending on how matted the dog is will be applied to the service. Dogs with severely matted coats require extra attention. Depending on severity of the matting a waiver will be signed by the owner notifying them of the risks of mat removal. Mats in a dog’s coat can grow tight, and ultimately damage and tear the dogs skin, which provides a breeding ground for parasite and bacterial infections. Bellevue Pet Spa will not cause serious or undue stress to your pet by de-matting them. Mats can be very difficult to remove, and may require the dog to be shaved. Removing a heavily matted coat can cause nicks, cuts or abrasions due to skin growths trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the dog’s skin allowing mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, producing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process. After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, bruising, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to grow. In some cases, dogs may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. Prevention is the best defense by scheduling regular grooming appointments, every 6-8 weeks. If your dog needs to be shaved to remove matting, by reading this and booking your appointment, you acknowledge that you agree to this procedure, and any risk. There will be additional charge for this process, it is time consuming, and causes extra wear and tear on grooming equipment.

  • Payment: Payment is due at time of pick up. We accept Debit, Credit (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) and Cash.

  • Satisfaction: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy for any reason, and would like something adjusted. We will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your dog from their appointment. Once, however, you take your pet home from the appointment, any return visits will be treated as a new appointment and the client may be charged a grooming fee to be determined by the extent of the adjustment.

  • Handling Fee: Applied when additional staff are needed to keep your pet safe (price variable)

  • Coat Upcharge/ Coat Premium: Applied if the coat is packed or hand scissoring is required for styling $10.00 and up.

  • Flea Bath: Additional $10-$20 (depending on size) and is immediately added if we encounter any fleas on your pet.
